You enter the cottage to a light and airy open-plan kitchen/dining/living area with a log burning stove so you can stay all warm and toasty on chilly evenings. There’s comfortable sofas and handmade curtains with coordinating cushions. The kitchen is well-equipped, it has a dishwasher and plenty of space for food storage. So you can stock up on the abundance of fresh local produce that you’ll find nearby and cook away. Or there are lots of great places to eat out if you prefer.
The two bedrooms are situated either end of the living area. There’s a double bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and at the other end is the twin room (we can make these into a super-king if requested – please let us know when you book). All beds will be freshly made with quality, white cotton linen, ready for your arrival. It’s been said we have the most comfortable beds ever! The stylish décor continues into the bedrooms where you’ll find handmade curtains, matching lampshades, coordinating cushions and throws to complete the soft furnishings. Plus there’s ample storage space in the solid, light pine furniture. So you can unpack and make yourself at home.
Both bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms with spacious shower cubicles, electric heated towel rails. Soft, fluffy white towels are provided.
It truly has a chocolate-box appeal, both inside and out. Inglewood also benefits from having its own private, beautiful garden. So after a day of walking and exploring, sit back and take in the beautiful views across the fields down the valley to Kirkoswald. As you chat about the fun you’ve had that day, simply watch the sun go down, take a deep breath and relax.
Inglewood has been accredited 4 Star Gold by Visit England.
2 dogs are allowed (based on a medium sized dog).
For larger groups of up to six guests, (or if you’d prefer three bedrooms) see Ravendale.
What our guests think…
“We have just returned home from a wonderful stay at Inglewood cottage. The cottage is perfect – beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Liz and Adrian were great hosts and we look forward to returning again.“
