Inside

Hazelrigg has a light and airy open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The cosy lounge has a quality sofa for two and a leather armchair together with a log burning stove. So you can cuddle up and relax on chilly evenings. It’s luxuriously furnished with handmade curtains, coordinating cushions and a snuggly throw too.

You’ll find everything you need in the well-equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher) and there is plenty of space for food storage. We are spoiled for choice for fresh local produce, with farm shops, butchers and bakers nearby. So you can stock up and cook some tasty meals back at the cottage after a day of walking and exploring the area.

The spacious bedroom has a super-comfortable king size bed, made up ready for your arrival with quality white cotton bed linen. The luxurious décor continues throughout with handmade curtains complimented by matching lampshades and coordinating cushions and throws. You’ll find fresh, soft fluffy towels in the en-suite wet room, so there’s no need to pack your own.

Outside

Hazelrigg has double doors leading from the lounge onto your own sheltered patio, encircled by planting and lawn. It is the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely start to the day. Plus it’s enclosed with stock fencing. So most dogs enjoy this safe space to chill too!

There’s also a seating area immediately outside the cottage. So in warmer months you can spend your evenings sat outside relaxing with a gin and tonic or your tipple of choice whilst you plan your next day of adventures. You’ll also have shared use of the main garden where there are various seating options. It’s a handy for a spot of wildlife watching or taking in the dark night skies.

You are very welcome to bring 2 dogs (based on a medium sized dog).
